MVP App Development | Nine Pixels
App Development

Your MVP Live in 8-12 Weeks.

A properly scoped MVP: the smallest thing that lets you validate your idea with real users. Not a half-finished app, a focused product that answers the questions that matter before you build the full version.

What a Real MVP Looks Like

An MVP is not a prototype. It's a real, working app with the core features that let real users do the core job, and nothing else. The discipline of deciding what's in and what's out is the hardest part, and it's where most teams go wrong.

We help you scope the MVP before we quote it. A discovery session to identify the one or two things the app must do, the minimum viable design, and technical foundations that won't become a rewrite when you scale. Then we build it, test it, and put it in front of users.

🔍
Ruthless Scoping

We challenge feature lists. If a feature doesn't directly test your core assumption, it's out of the MVP.

Fixed Price Delivery

Every MVP is quoted at a fixed price against an agreed spec. No time-and-materials ambiguity.

🚀
Launch-Ready Quality

MVPs should be embarrassing in features, not quality. Ours are QA'd, crash-monitored, and store-compliant from day one.

📈
Post-MVP Path

We design the MVP architecture with the full product in mind. The code you validate with is code you can build on.

What's in the MVP

What We Include in Every MVP

The essentials that make an MVP real, not a demo.

🎨
Core UI & Screens

Enough screens to complete the core user journey. Designed to work, not to impress. Real information architecture.

Authentication

Email, Google, or Apple Sign-In. Basic user accounts and session management.

📊
Analytics

Firebase or Mixpanel event tracking on every key user action from day one.

🔥
Crash Monitoring

Crashlytics from launch. You know about crashes before your users complain.

🚀
Store Submission

App Store and Google Play submission managed. Real stores, not just TestFlight.

🔧
30-Day Bug Support

30 days of bug fixing after launch for issues covered by the original spec.

Our Process

How We Build Your MVP

Structured, fast, and focused on getting to user feedback.

🔍1
Scope Session

A 2-3 hour session to define what's in and what's out. We challenge everything that isn't core.

📋2
Spec & Quote

A written spec you approve before any code is written. Fixed price quoted against it.

⚙️3
4-Week Build Sprints

Two sprints of two weeks each. TestFlight / APK at end of sprint 1, full QA at end of sprint 2.

🧪4
QA & Compliance

Store compliance sweep, crash monitoring setup, and final QA pass before submission.

🚀5
Launch & Monitor

Store submission, launch monitoring, and 30-day bug fix support.

🔍
Scope Discipline

FAQ

MVP Development FAQs

Common questions about building an MVP with Nine Pixels.

What's the difference between an MVP and a prototype?+
A prototype is a design or clickable mockup. An MVP is a real, working app that real users can use to do the core job. It can be downloaded from the App Store, handles real data, and tells you real things about user behaviour.
How do you decide what's in the MVP?+
In a scope session we start from the core hypothesis. Everything else is cut or deferred. A useful test: if this feature was missing, would the MVP still answer the core question? If yes, it's out.
Can the MVP become the full product?+
Yes. That's why we design the architecture with the full product in mind. The MVP codebase isn't a throwaway; it's the foundation of v2.
What platforms should my MVP target?+
For most consumer apps, iOS only is the faster MVP strategy. For B2B or enterprise apps, Android may be more relevant. We'll give you a platform recommendation based on your target user.
Can you help us write the spec?+
Yes. The scope session is a collaborative spec-writing process. We come with questions; you come with your idea. The output is a written spec both sides agree on.
What happens after the MVP?+
We offer a post-MVP support retainer and can quote a v2 feature set once you have user feedback. Many long-term clients started with an MVP engagement.
