Mental Health · Flutter · iOS & Android · CBT-Based
Quietude combines CBT exercises, mood tracking, and AI journalling prompts, built for users who want more structure than a meditation timer but less rigidity than clinical therapy. Nine Pixels built the product with a clinical psychologist embedded in the team. All sensitive ML inference runs on-device: no raw journal content ever leaves the device.
Mental health app UX must be calming and low-friction even when users are in distress. The mood tracking system needed a custom on-device ML model to surface personalised insights without feeling intrusive. Privacy was absolute: no raw journal data could ever reach a server.
Flutter chosen for superior animation control for the app's breathing room screen transitions. Design built on three principles: never rush the user, always acknowledge emotional input, turn usage data into something the user wants to open, not avoid. A fine-tuned BERT variant identifies mood trajectory patterns and surfaces gentle intervention prompts. All ML inference via TFLite on-device.
Nine Pixels is the first studio that understood the brief at a human level, not just technically. The product reflects that.
